The Scoresby Magpies celebrate 100 years with their own Heritage Round in Round 17 in a blockbuster against Donvale.
In Season 2025, the Scoresby Football Netball Club celebrate their centenary.
Being one of the founding clubs of the Eastern Football Netball League, Scoresby has most certainly had their fair share of success over the years winning eight Senior football premierships, five Reserves football premierships and 5 Colts/U18 premierships.

After winning their first premiership in 1959, it was 18 years until their next premiership in the second division of the then EFL.
Despite their success, the club has also had its lows, as the club was relegated from the First Division of the EFNL back in 2014, only a few years following two consecutive Grand Final appearances and found itself in the fourth division in 2024, making their way back up after defeating the Whitehorse Pioneers by 81 points at East Ringwood Reserve.
In addition to the regular Seniors & Reserves footy, Scoresby were one of the first clubs to enter the EFNL’s Veterans Men’s competition and they were successful winning the flag in 2018.
The Magpies not only have dominated on the football field, they first entered the netball competition in 2015 and have since had two premierships out of four Grand Finals.
On Saturday 2nd August, Scoresby take on top of the ladder rivals Donvale in their own Heritage Round where the clock will be wound back and both the Seniors & Reserves will don the original ‘Scoresby United Football Club’ guernsey with the SUFC anagram on the front and their new heritage logo (pictured below).

A ton of preparation has gone into ensuring their Heritage Round is a day to remember with club committee members and life members cleaning old premiership cups which will be centrepieces for their pre-match ceremony, similar to what was done only a few months ago at the MCG.
Scoresby are excited to have everyone who has been involved with the club in any capacity back to Exner Reserve (Scoresby Recreation Reserve) to celebrate their contribution to a century of greatness!
