Wayne Judge
EFNL Director of Coaching
The experienced Wayne Judge will take the mantle of EFNL Director of Coaching in 2025.
Judge has over 15 years of coaching experience with the league’s Interleague program.
He is currently the Head of Football Development at the Boronia Hawks, overseeing back-to-back senior premierships in 2023 and 2024. Previously, Judge was the senior coach of Ringwood and Forest Hill.
It’s not only the development of the junior players that excites Judge, but also seeing the new coaches that join the program.
“As the Director of Coaching, the most rewarding part for me is watching the growth and development in both the young players who come through the program and the coaches who we bring into the program,” Judge said.
“This year it is super exciting to have as coaches in the Boys program current or former EFNL players such as Jesse Uren, Riley Clausen, Haydn Watkins, Josh May, Jaidyn Stephenson, Taine Barlow, Andrew Smith and Georgia Wilson, some of which were all part of the interleague program themselves when they were younger,”
“To also have current Hawthorn AFL players Dylan Moore and Will Day coaching in our Under 14 Boys just speaks volumes for the quality of the program,”
“In the Girls program, we are blessed to have coaches of the calibre of Rhonda McMillan, Jess Grace and Amanda Ling leading the program and they are well-supported this year by a range of up-and-coming female coaches who have all recently played in the Coates Talent League.”

Dylan Moore
Under 14 Division One Boys
It is an honour for the EFNL to have Hawthorn Football Club Vice-Captain Dylan Moore as this year’s Head Coach for the Under 14 Division One Boys team.
Moore’s football ability speaks volumes, last year selected in the 2024 All Australian side in the Forward Pocket.
Selected at pick number 67 by Hawthorn in the 2017 AFL Draft, Moore has since played 100 games at AFL level, kicking 118 goals.
Before gracing the AFL field, Moore was a former junior in the EFNL, playing at both Forest Hill and Rowville. Moore participated in the Interleague program as a junior, a representative in both the Under 14’s and Under 15’s Division One sides.
“I was once in the same as these young footballers,” Moore said.
“I remember the great influence of my coaches and I hope to have a similar impact on these kids.”
It's a privilege for the league to have the experience of Moore as one of this year’s Interleague coaches.

Riley Clausen
Under 14 Division Two Boys
Lilydale Football Club Senior Captain, Riley Clausen, joins this year’s Interleague coaching crew as a coach for the Under 14 Division Two Boys side.
A three-time senior best and fairest winner, Clausen enters the coaching group with previous experience in the EFNL Interleague program as a player. He participated in the program as a representative in both the Under 14’s and Under 15’s Division One teams.
Clausen would also move into the Eastern Ranges program as a representative in the Under 18’s side.
A first taste of coaching will allow Clausen to help develop players who were once in his position.
“I am really excited about giving back to the EFNL Interleague program and investing time into the development of the players,” Clausen said.
“This is an exciting time in their young careers, and I want to make it as enjoyable and valuable as possible for them all.”

Jesse Uren
Under 15 Division One Boys
The Under 15 Boys Division One side will be led by head coach Jesse Uren.
Uren entered the Interleague program as a coach last season, working with the Under 14 Boys Division Two group.
As the current Mitcham Football Club Senior Captain, Uren has already put together an accomplished resume within the league. A two-time senior premiership captain with the Tigers, a three-time premiership player, a four-time EFNL Team of the Year member and senior club best and fairest winner.
His ability to teach, relate and coach younger players has been a massive strength of Uren’s, having also previously coached and developed the Mitcham FC Under 19’s group, taking the side from three wins to a fifteen-win side the following season.
Uren’s passion for developing the league’s current Interleague squad is second to none.
“I love having the opportunity to help the next generation of footballers develop their craft both in an individual aspect but most importantly in a team environment.”

Andrew Smith
Under 15 Division Two Boys
The experienced Andrew Smith will head coach the Under 15 Boys Division Two team this season.
Smith is well known around the league as an EFNL Life Member, having played over 300 senior games, playing senior football at Mulgrave, Vermont, Barooga and Doncaster East.
At the Vermont Football Club, Smith played an integral role in six premiership sides for the Eagles.
Following a highly successful football career within the league, Smith has since been a Senior Assistant Coach at Vermont, Doncaster East and Heathmont. Involved with the Mitcham Junior Football Club, Smith has been the head coach of multiple teams, most recently coaching Mitcham’s Under 14’s side in 2025.
“I enjoy educating, challenging and developing all the players to assist them in getting the best out of their football,” Smith said.
“To watch them improve and develop throughout the program and back at club level is super rewarding. A lot of fun and extra learnings also comes from working with the other coaches, Project Gap and EFNL staff.”

Rhonda McMillan
Under 15 Division One Girls
Rhonda McMillan returns this season as the 2025 Under 15’s Division One Girls Head Coach.
McMillian is no stranger to the interleague program and has a strong history with the development of young female footballers within the Eastern Football Netball League.
At Wantirna South Football Club, McMillan has established both the junior girls and senior women’s programs. A key reason for the success of the program at the club and for creating the connection and pathway between junior and senior football for Wantirna South girls.
She remains the current coach of the Wantirna South Under 18’s Girls' side.
“I am passionate about sport and helping kids develop, not only their skills but also their character,” McMillian said.
“Exposure to team sports like foot helps kids build positive connections and respect for others. It is exciting and rewarding to see their relationships and confidence grow throughout the program and at the local level. I love being a small part of their footy/life journey.”

Jess Grace
Under 15 Division Two Girls
After previously coaching the boys' sides in the EFNL Interleague program, Jess Grace returns this year as the Under 15’s Division Two Girls Head Coach.
Grace has a fantastic resume, currently coaching the Mitcham Football Club Senior Women’s side, and the playing coach for the Tigers.
An experienced and talented player, Grace has represented Hawthorn in the VFLW as well as an Eastern Ranges representative in the Under 18 Girls.
Having also been a part of the EFNL Interleague program as a player, Jess Grace is the perfect person to lead the next generation of female footballers within the Eastern Football Netball League.
“I love seeing the talent we have coming through and being able to help them develop their footy to be the best they can be and take it to that next level.”

Amanda Ling
Under 14 Division One Girls
North Melbourne VFLW star Amanda Ling joins the EFNL Interleague coaching staff in 2025 as the Under 14 Division One Girls Head Coach.
Ling has experienced success at the highest level, previously playing with the Western Bulldogs in the AFLW competition, selected in the 2021 draft at Pick number 22.
She’s had experience at three different VFLW clubs, previously playing with Port Melbourne and Western Bulldogs before joining North Melbourne in 2024.
A highlight of her career is playing a starring role in the 2021 premiership side with the Oakleigh Chargers in the Under 18 Girls. Ling was awarded the honours of Best on Ground in the Grand Final.
“I am really passionate about developing young people in different aspects of the game to help them achieve success and work towards their future goals,” Ling said.
“I enjoy supporting/developing athletes in sporting environments as I believe it helps them become better people in general.”

Jarryd Cursio
EFNL High Performance Manager
An important part of the EFNL Interleague Program is the league’s partnership with Project Gap.
Jarryd Cursio is the Sports Science Coordinator at Project Gap and the EFNL High Performance Manager.
Cursio is an accredited exercise physiologist and an accredited exercise scientist. He is also a level-two Strength and Conditioning Coach.
“Being involved with the EFNL Interleague program feeds my passion for greatness. Teaching young athletes how to train for their sport in a way that they can remember to help others get better also,” Cursio said.
“It’s an incredible opportunity to be a part of each athlete’s sporting journey and help them bridge the gap between where they are and where they want to be.”
