Under 15A Boys - East Ringwood Blue vs Mitcham Black @ Heights Reserve, 12:55pm

East Ringwood look set to be challenged by an in-form Mitcham outfit this weekend in their U15A Grand Final in Mooroolbark.

The Roos have lost just once this season against Lysterfield, whom they defeated in the Qualifying Final by 49 points to be the first side into the U15A decider.

Luke Halson led the way in that win with three goals while star players Liam Grybas and Aaron Malone kicked two goals each.

Grybas now sits on 41 goals for the year and will be vital if the Roos are to be victorious this weekend alongside Malone, Dylan Wheaton, Harper Nummy and Taj Ramsay.

Their opponents in Mitcham haven’t lost a game since their Round 9 encounter against the Roos in which they lost by 41 points at Ainslie Park.

They booked their ticket to the big dance with a 27-point triumph over Lysterfield and a seven-point win over Vermont so far in this finals series.

Ruben Coombe kicked six in last weekend’s prelim to increase his goal tally to 31 for the season.

He’s set to play a vital role for the Tigers alongside Ethan Reed, Darcy Marcus, Tyler Rundle and Jack Cruse who’ve all had excellent seasons so far.

Mitcham are yet to defeat the Roos this season, losing by 45 points in their Round 5 meeting at Koonung Reserve on top of their Round 9 encounter.
