Under 16A Girls - North Ringwood Red vs East Ringwood Blue @ Mount Waverley Reserve, 3:00pm

Local rivals are set to go head-to-head in the U16A Girls Grand Final as the Saints and Roos meet for one last time in 2026 on the big stage.

North Ringwood were the first to qualify for the decider despite finishing in second, knocking off the Roos by 11 points in their Qualifying Final at Sunday’s venue.

Jessica Kreskas was one of five individual players to impact the scoreboard that game, increasing her goal tally to 24 from 13 games this year.

She’s set to play a key role for the Saints in this weekend’s decider alongside Summer McArdle, Paige Fitzsimons and Olivia Burgess, with Fitzsimons also playing senior footy this year with the Saints.

The Roos responded to their defeat at the hands of the Saints last weekend with a 21-point triumph over Blackburn.

Eastern Ranges player Indy Springett kicked all four goals for East Ringwood last weekend, boosting her goalkicking record to 25 from 10 games this year.

Tia Crossland, Alexis Blackman and Eloise McKie will also be crucial for the Roos, with Crossland sitting on 27 goals from 14 games so far this year.

They’ll meet the Saints for the fifth time in season 2026, with the ledger even at 2-2 so far this season.
