Baker Moves On

After ten years of outstanding service with the Eastern Football Netball League, Dyson Baker has resigned from his role as General Manager of Football Operations.

Dyson stepped into the role of General Manager of Football Operations after serving in both the roles of Junior Football Manager and Media Manager with the league.

Prior to his appointment as Media Manager in 2014, Dyson worked in multiple volunteer roles during a seven-year stint with the EFNL media team.

Moving on, Dyson leaves the senior competition in a great position going forward. During his time as General Manager of Football Operations, he oversaw the development of the senior women’s competition in the EFNL. Since entering the role, the competition has seen an increase of 24 teams, going from 18 to 42.

Dyson has built great relationships across his journey with the league, working closely with all clubs.

EFNL Chief Executive Officer Jy Bond praised Dyson for his commitment and service with the league.

“Dyson has given the league a tremendous service across several areas of the business. We wish Dyson all the best with his new role,” Bond said.

The league would like to wish Dyson all the best in his future endeavours.
