Croydon 50 def Heathmont Jets 46
The was almost one of the biggest upsets of the season in Section One last Friday. Second on the ladder Croydon piled on 15 goals in the final quarter to overcome the competitive Heathmont Jets who heading into the game had won two games for the season. Genevieve Abbott was instrumental for Croydon scoring 36 goals for the match. Likewise, Rory Barr from Heathmont Jets was ultra-dominant with 35 goals of her own. A major scare for Croydon, however they held their nerve. For Heathmont, a lot to like about their performance and for the remainder of the season.
