BENDIGO BANK SATURDAY NIGHT SCOREBOARD

In one of the matches of the round, Vermont prevailed over Balwyn by 14 points in their pair’s 30th meeting since the Tigers joined the EFL in 2007.

Meanwhile, Norwood caused one of the upsets of the weekend, comfortably defeating Blackburn.

In Division 2, Knox defeated Upper Ferntree Gully by 45 points while Mitcham defeated the Waverley Blues by eight points.

Boronia claimed the beyondblue Cup in Division 3 today, coming from 22 points down in the final term to snatch victory from Ferntree Gully. Paterson starred for the Hawks booting three, while Boyle kicked five for the Eagles.

Templestowe recorded a 41-point victory over Heathmont to remain one of the division’s genuine flag contenders.

In Division 4, Forest Hill recorded a 25-point win over fellow premiership contender Coldstream, while Kilsyth caused one of the upsets of the round, defeating Whitehorse Pioneers by five points.
