In Division 1, South Croydon inflicted Vermont’s first senior loss for season 2018, prevailing by 18 points in the grand final re-match at Cheong Park. Michael King and Patrick Rosier each kicked two for the Dogs, while Brett Eddy starred for the Eagles, booting four.
Meanwhile, East Ringwood defeated Noble Park by 31 points at East Ringwood Reserve.
Doncaster East found itself back on the winners’ list in Division 2 this week, off the back of Jack Sholakis booting four and Jake Summers two. Meanwhile, Wantirna South recorded a 24-point win over Park Orchards at Walker Reserve.
In Division 3, Ringwood kept its unbeaten run alive with a 32-point win over Templestowe, with Trent Farmer kicking four for the Redbacks. Boronia held on in a heart-stopper against South Belgrave up the mountain, registering the victory by one point.
The Glen Waverley Hawks made a statement in Division 4, defeating East Burwood, with Amin kicking five. Meanwhile, Silvan recorded an upset victory over Kilsyth, prevailing by 34 points.
