Eastland Division One 2022 Fixture

The Eastland Division One 2022 season fixture is here, with the 10 team, 18 round competition set to begin on April 2nd.

Each side will play every opponent twice – Home and Away – with the Top Five Finals Series beginning on August 20, with the Grand Final on September 10.

2021 Minor Premier Park Orchards have been promoted to the Premier Division and have been replaced in the Division by Beaconsfield who transferred over from the AFL Outer East early in the off-season.

The Eagles will start their Eastern Football Netball League journey at home, hosting an ever improving Wantirna South side, whilst local rivals Croydon and Lilydale will also meet in Round One on the Blues home patch.

Other opening weekend fixtures see Mitcham and Mooroolbark reacquaint themselves after their dramatic finish to the 2021 season at Walker Park, Upper Ferntree Gully host Bayswater and Gary Ayres make his EFNL coaching debut as Montrose take on premiership fancy East Ringwood at home.

Ayres will come up against new Lilydale coach Luke McCormick in Round Three when the Demons host the young Falcons, whilst Croydon and Mooroolbark will do battle in Rounds Eight and 17, with the Blues hosting the first of the two meetings.
