In Premier Division, South Croydon defeated North Ringwood at Cheong Park to keep its finals hopes alive, as Balwyn recorded a convincing win over Montrose.
Division 1 action saw Upper Ferntree Gully upset Doncaster East at Kings Park, while second-placed Croydon found its way back onto the winners’ list with a victory over Wantirna South.
In Division 2, Boronia continued its rich vein of form, defeating Heathmont at Tormore Reserve, as Ringwood continued to stake its claim for top-spot, accounting for Scoresby and Mulgrave upset The Basin.
Donvale overcame the red-hot Waverley Blues as the Whitehorse Pioneers recorded a comprehensive win over a gallant Chirnside Park.
The in-form side of Division 4, East Burwood returned to the winners’ list defeating Croydon North-MLOC, and Silvan defeated Surrey Park.
