EFL ANNOUNCES NEW NETBALL, ADMIN & EVENTS MANAGER

The Eastern Football League is pleased to announce the appointment of Petra Keogh as the League’s new Netball, Events and Administration Manager.

Petra joins the League at an important time with our netball competition continuing to grow with an anticipated 85-plus teams in 2018.

She brings with her a wealth of netball knowledge and experience, having represented South Africa and playing at the elite level in the U.K.

Last year she was part of Boronia’s EFL Netball Premier Division premiership team and was also named in the teams of the year in both the Netball EFL and AFL Yarra Ranges competitions. Petra is also actively involved coaching Net, Set, Go.

Professionally, Petra has had an extensive career in the travel, hospitality and events industries including time as international sales & marketing manager for the Red Carnation Hotel Group, as well as running her own luxury hotel marketing and events business.

She has been active in her local community as a volunteer having served on committees and in various roles with Oban Pre-School, Kalinda Primary, Maroondah Magic Basketball and Norwood Junior Football Club.

Petra will begin with the EFL on Monday, February 26.
