HOMEWOOD MOVING ON

The Mitcham Football Club wish to advise that board have accepted the resignations of Senior coach Scott Homewood and Reserves coach Aaron Smith. The two will finish up in their positions at the end of the clubs finals campaign.

Scott and Aaron have both been fantastic coaches for the football club both on and off the field. The club and coaches will end on very positive terms with both parties acknowledging that this is the right time for a change.

Scott and Aaron have commitments in their personal lives that require more time than they can currently give, hence their decision.

Whilst the coaches and players will be purely focused on the upcoming finals series, the board look forward to the process of finding suitable replacements for both positions in what is a very exciting time at the football club”
