Rowville Football Club junior president Paul Mynott spoke to EFL Media ahead of season 2018, all thanks to Yarra Valley Water and Choose Tap.

Overall, were you satisfied with what the club achieved, both on and off the field, in 2017?

Paul Mynott: Yes, we increased our teams from 12 to 15 with the inclusion of 3 girls teams and all teams were relatively competitive.

Approximately how many teams do you think you will field in 2018?

PM: 15.

What has the feeling been like around the club over the pre-season?

PM: We have a very good feeling around the club as per usual.

If you had to pick one, which team do you think is the club’s best chance of winning a premiership this season?

PM: To be honest, we don’t really look into this.

Is there a particular age group of players that you need as soon as possible to fill a team ahead of Round 1?

PM: Under-10, 15, 17.

If any players are interested in playing Rowville this season, what do they have to do?

PM: Contact Kath Callaway on kath.callaway@rowvillefc.org.au or tel – 0421200228.
