INTERLEAGUE REVAMP

In a revamped competition the Eastern Football League will be one of more than 40 competitions teams to compete in a state based interleague competition combing both the Country Championships and the Metro Championships. Over the weekend of May 21/22, The Eastern FL will take on the State’s best Country side The Geelong Football League.

Further details are to be confirmed but Geelong will look to defend its crown, having claimed the Number 1 ranking in the Country Championships in 2015. Both sides will be coming into the game with winning form, our boys were able to claim a six goal win over cross-town rivals the Western Region Football League.

Information the all-important squad announcement will be made over the coming months.
