JUNIOR PRESENTATION EVENING RESULTS

More than 450 people packed out the Karralyka Centre in Ringwood for the 2017 Bendigo Bank Eastern Football League Junior Presentation Night.

Best and fairest awards and premiership flags awarded for 25 separate divisions, as well as naming the MVPs of the 2017 representative program.

The Wantitrna South Junior Football Club were named the 2017 Gordon Parker – Best Conducted Club. President Kevin Van Grondelle led his club through a season where the club were off its home ground and still the club continues to develop and grow in size once again.

The 2017 Junior Umpire of the Year was second-year field umpire Michael Gao.

On Thursday night, over 400 people from AFL Yarra Ranges and Eastern Football League clubs gathered at Mt. Lilydale Mercy College for the Deakin University Eastern Region Girls Presentation Night.

Best and fairest awards were presented to the League’s shining stars as well as the presentation of premiership flags.

The Female Volunteer of the Year Award for the EFL was Michelle Djuma of Ferntree Gully, along with Blackburn’s Deb Sandells and Lilydale’s Karen Cruickshank who were recognised with lifetime volunteer awards on the evening.
