A statement from the Falcons…
THE Knox Football Club is delighted to announce the appointment of Chris Adolph as its senior coach for season 2014.
Chris was the development skills coach at Williamstown Football Club (VFL) in season 2013 and has also held coaching and development roles at both Scoresby and The Basin Football Clubs.
With Chris’ previous experience in player development and strategic game planning, it makes him the ideal person to lead our club into 2014. Chris hopes to continue the development of our young list to ensure we are competitive and successful in first division.
Chris was a fellow past player of Knox Football Club and we are thrilled to welcome Chris and his wife Rebecca back to the club.
We are also pleased to have Barry Williams on board who will be supporting Chris as a senior assistant coach. We are also delighted to announce Nick Wheeler as our Under 19’s coach for Season 2014.
Nick is supported by a strong team of assistants that include Rod Kay, Justin Reeves and David Beach. Wayne Bevan has also joined the team as Team Manager.
Nick has held development roles at the Eastern Ranges and Knox. He has also coached Upper Ferntree Gully’s Reserves team for the past three years.
We look forward to welcoming Nick and his team back to the Falcons.
