MULHOLLAND MOVING ON

It is with regret that the Eastern Football Netball League has accepted the resignation of Female Talent and Competitions Manager Jessie Mulholland.

Mulholland departs the league after three years in the role, securing a position with Melbourne Football Club as AFLW Football Performance Manager.

During her time with the league Jessie was responsible for the Operations of the EFNL’s Junior Girls and Senior Women’s competition, she was instrumental in the early development of the Eastern Region Girls competition that boosted the growth of female football in the region.

During Jessie’s time with the league, female football saw enormous growth with team numbers in the region climbing from 77 in 2017 to an anticipated 137 in 2020.

Whilst managing the League Operations, Mulholland was also responsible for the oversight of the Eastern Ranges female program.

EFNL General Manager – Football Operations Dyson Baker praised Mulholland’s commitment to female football in the region,

“Jessie has been pivotal in the substantial growth the league has seen in the female space. Her passion and commitment to assist clubs has been unyielding.”

Mulholland has been amazed at the level of club’s support that has built for female football over the past three seasons,

“Current and future players are extremely fortunate to have clubs who are dedicated and committed to providing opportunities for females of all ages to play football”

“I have thoroughly enjoyed my time here and I am grateful for the opportunity to have worked with some great people, not just in the office but within clubs as well.”

Jessie will complete here tenure with the League on Friday the 13th of November.  We wish her all the best in her new role at the Melbourne Football Club.

Please direct all communications regarding junior and female football to EFNL General Manager – Football Operations Dyson Baker (dbaker@efnl.org.au).
