Norwood Purple 33 def Chirnside Panthers 24
After 6 rounds Norwood sat bottom on the ladder and given, they were coming up against eighth on the ladder Chirnside, this undoubtedly was a great win for the Norwood side. Chirnside and Norwood clashed with scores being close throughout. With the scores 7-all at quarter-time and 14-15 to Norwood at the half there was little separating the sides. But the third quarter was game defining from Norwood who blew out to a ten goal lead with the final quarter to come, a margin which proved too big to come back from for Chirnside.
This now sits Chirnside in ninth and sees Norwood move up to 12th on the ladder.
