Nick Batsanis to step down from Templestowe Coaching Role at End of Season

TEMPLESTOWE ANNOUNCEMENT – SENIOR COACH

Templestowe Football Club has been advised by Nick Batsanis, senior mens coach, that he will be stepping down from this role at the conclusion of the 2025 season. Nick has cited that changing circumstances at his work will prevent him from coaching any football next year.

Greg Tremewen, President, said “We have really enjoyed having Nick as our senior coach since late in season 2023. Nick has had a change at his work which prevents him from coaching next year and he advised the players of this last Thursday night before training. We would have loved to have Nick continue in the role but it is simply not to be. This is unfortunate for us but we certainly wish Nick every success at his work. We will now commence the process of finding a new senior coach. Nick Batsanis said “I have really enjoyed my time as senior coach of Templestowe Football Club. However, I cannot continue in this role next year due to work commitments. I remain firmly focussed on what there is to achieve in this season and myself and the players are committed to that”.
