The Norwood Football Club yesterday received the resignation of senior coach Denis Knight. Denis has been an outstanding coach and on field leader for the past five seasons and has been an integral part of the clubs success over this historic period.
Denis came to Norwood with an exceptional football background and proven track record, his wealth of knowledge and strength in leadership was immediately felt. During his five year tenure as senior coach we enjoyed three seasons of finals, two grand finals and the highest achievement in the clubs history, the 2014 1st Division premiership.
Norwood Football Club extends its utmost gratitude for the service and contributions made, we look forward to a strong association with Denis in the years to come where the friendships he forged are continued.
The 2018 season will be upon us very quickly and is already full of expectation, not only to be enjoyable for all associated at Norwood, but one that delivers outcomes in keeping with the calibre and strength of the club.
For now though, the club is looking forward to the development squad and colts finals campaign in the coming weeks and encourages everyone to get behind them and their campaign. Mark Etherington President Norwood FC
