Just four weeks into the 2016 season South Belgrave senior coach Hayden Stanton has resigned, effective immediately. In just his second season with the club, a 1-3 start to the season wasn’t the perfect way to begin 2016 and has signaled an early exit for the Division 2 Premiership Coach. The club, swift in their actions, have appointed Michael Scoon as interim Coach whilst they look at all options. The Saints are just one game off 4th position and play host to Chirnside Park on Saturday in an early season, must win clash

“We at the South Belgrave Football club would like to officially advise you that our senior coach Hayden Stanton has resigned from our club.

Michael Scoon has stepped up and will take the helm in the interim whilst we review our options.

We would like to thank Hayden for all he has brought to the club and wish him all the best in his future endeavours.

We look forward to the challenge of rebuilding.”

Tony Baker South Belgrave FC – President
