At last month’s Chandler Medal evening, Taylah Black became the first female to gain EFNL Legend status, after winning her third league best and fairest.
To qualify for EFNL Legend status, a player in the league must achieve three League best and fairests in their career. Black won her third league best and fairest in 2024, after claiming the honours in 2019 (Division One) and 2022 (Premier Division).
Black becomes just the 16th player in league history to earn the title of EFNL legend, and the first female added to the elite group.
An incredible feat, the status has been earned after 73 senior games, the star forward booting 164 goals over that time.
The triple-league medallist celebrated the ultimate team success of a premiership for the second time this year when South Croydon defeated the Eastern Devils on Grand Final Day by eight points.
The South Croydon legend officially becomes a league legend.
