THE Kilsyth Football Club has announced that Leigh Thompson has been appointed the club’s senior coach for the 2014 season.
Thompson, from the Mooroolbark Football Club, will be the Cougars’ playing coach and comes with big plans to change the club’s fortunes.
In a club statement, it is expected that Thompson will ‘put his stamp on a new game plan with plans to take us to the next level’.
‘It’s time for all of our members and supporters to get on board and support the new look Kilsyth,’ the statement read.
In other Cougar news, Dean Buckley has been appointed the club’s new president.
