Trembath achieves Rising Star Honours

A great story coming out of Friday's AFL clash between North Melbourne and Carlton was former EFNL star Cooper Trembath winning this round's AFL Rising Star nomination.
The former Blackburn and Park Orchards star was selected last season by the North Melbourne Football Club in last year's mid-season draft.
In a strong Good Friday performance, Trembath won the Round Four Telstra AFL Rising Star for his three-goal, six mark performance against the Blues.
Trembath was a key reason for North Melbourne's come-from-behind victory. The 20-year-old has finished with three goals in five of his seven AFL appearances which gives him an impressive average of 2.4 goals per game.

Trembath becomes the first North Melbourne player to receive a Rising Star nomination this season and enters the running for the 2026 Rising Star.
