Further to recent communication, the Blackburn Football Club has today made the decision to relieve Peter Banfield of Senior Coaching duties for the remainder of this season.
This decision was made in the interests of all parties and is effective immediately.
The remainder of the season will see current Assistant Coach Kyle Matthews appointed as the interim Senior Coach, assisted by Anthony Fagan.
The Club is excited for its future direction and looks forward to finishing strongly in Season 2015.
Again, we wish to thank Peter for his commitment, loyalty and resilience shown to the Blackburn Football Club and wish him well for the future.
The Club also wishes to thank our sponsors, members and supporters for their continued support and understanding during this interim period.
