The Eastern Football Netball League is deeply saddened by the passing of Ben Austin, a member of the Ferntree Gully Cricket and Football Clubs.
The league extends its heartfelt condolences to Ben’s family, friends, teammates and the Ferntree Gully Cricket and Football Clubs.
Ben was an important member of Ferntree Gully, volunteering in roles such as gatekeeper, timekeeper, water boy, goal umpire and boundary umpire. His father Jace having a long association in the EFNL through coaching roles at Wantirna South, Noble Park, Ferntree Gully and Donvale.
Our thoughts are with Ben’s family, Jace, Tracey, Cooper and Zach.
