VERMONT JUNIORS

Steve Bain President – Vermont Junior FC

Overall, were you satisfied with what the club achieved, both on and off the field, in 2014?

Absolutely I was! If winning was what we measured success on, we had a wonderful season having 5 teams make Grand Finals with U13A and U14D winning, U9 taking out the Lightning premiership! But the most important and pleasing thing we measure success on is seeing the continued development of every player, and the enjoyment and friendship everyone seemed to have! It is always fantastic seeing kids come into the club at any level and enjoy themselves!

The club is in a strong position off the field as well, with lots of new people joining the committee this season!

Approximately how many teams do you think you will field in 2015?

We are looking at fielding 19 teams in 2015 from Under 8’s – Under 17’s. What has the feeling been like around the club over the pre-season?

It’s been fantastic to be honest! With Players, Coaches and Parents getting excited as the season nears, all the teams are now training and looking forward to April 12th! I know I am! If you had to pick one, which team do you think is the club’s best chance of winning a premiership this season?

I hate this question! Maybe the U14A who are going for 3 in a row! Is there a particular age group of players that you need as soon as possible to fill a team ahead of Round 1?

Numbers overall are pretty good, But would love to see a few more in the Under 11, Under 12 & Under 13 age groups

If any players are interested in playing for your club this season, what do they have to do?

Jump on our website www.vermontjfc.com.au for details on how to register or they can give me a call on 0428 713 298 directly I’d love to hear from them!

Go Eagles!
