In Division 1, East Ringwood registered its first win for the season with a resounding 62-point win over Knox. The Roos found plenty of avenues to goal, with Cleven Swierzbiolek, Tweedie, Jeffs, Osborne and Battaglene each finishing with two majors. Meanwhile, Norwood caused one of the upsets of the round, defeating Balwyn by 44 points.
Division 2 saw Doncaster East and Wantirna South play out a thriller, with the Lions prevailing by a point at Walker Reserve. Lilydale remains undefeated after a 27-point win over Upper Ferntree Gully in the Falcons’ 1000th EFL match, with Lachie Wilson finishing with three goals.
Boronia continued its run of form in Division 3, with a 99-point victory over Ferntree Gully, while Heathmont bounced back from last weekend’s defeat to the Hawks, recording a 35-point win over Templestowe. Brown and Rourke each booted four.
In Division 4, Forest Hill had a clinical win over Fairpark by 65 points, Glen Waverley Hawks finished 70-point victors over Coldstream and Kilsyth returned to the winners’ list with a 33-point win over Surrey Park.
