Keep up-to-date with all the weekend’s results on the Bendigo Bank Saturday Night Scoreboard…

In Division 1, the Vermont juggernaut rolled on with a 45-point win over Blackburn at Morton Park. After a dour struggle in the first half with just three points separating the two sides at the main break, nine goals to two after half-time saw the Eagles run out convincing winners off the back of a best on ground performance from Lachie Johns, and a solid performance down back by big-man Joel Perry.

Wantirna South continued its late-season charge to the finals, with a 17-point win over Mulgrave at Walker Reserve. The Devils raced out of the blocks early, kicking four goals to none in the opening term, continuing to pile on the goals to lead by 46 points at the final change. A late run of five goals to none in the last quarter wasn’t enough for the Lions, falling short in the end.

Scoresby recorded its seventh-straight victory, breaking into the top five with a seven point victory over Heathmont at HE Parker Reserve. Ben Bronsgeest finished with four for the Magpies, while Marc Williams kicked two. Kevin Clark registered four majors for the Jets.

Division 4 saw Kilsyth knock over Coldstream to the tune of 16 points on Saturday afternoon, with Kilsyth now sitting outside the top four on percentage. Kilsyth led at all changes, with Goodinson leading the charge, finishing with four goals to his name.

Don’t forget to tune in to EFL Sunday from 10am on 98.1FM tomorrow morning for a full wrap of all the weekend’s action.
