Last Sunday, the EFNL’s Netball 2025 Representative squad took the courts at Caulfield and District Netball Association (CDNA) tournament day as they continue to build towards Netball Victoria’s Association Championships in June.
A terrific day for the girls, seeing EFNL Red reach the first round of finals against a tough opposition, SACSNA.
Head coach, Jess Fouet, was pleased with the overall results.
"Our first tournament for the year was at Caulfield & District NA. I was really excited to see the players in action against other strong associations. Divided into two teams, this was a great chance to test our combinations for the upcoming Association Championships tournament," Fouet said.
"We saw some really great things from both EFNL Red and EFNL Black with EFNL Red making the semi-finals."
"While we didn't come away with the win for the day, I was certainly impressed with what we put out on the court and was able to pinpoint what we need to work on and what we do best for future tournaments. Very proud of the entire squad and can't wait to see how we go at the Dandenong tournament."
The girls also took the opportunity to dedicate their support to one of our members, and bring awareness to ovarian cancer, wearing a teal ribbon throughout the day.
