FOTIA APPOINTED MEDIA MANAGER

The Eastern Football Netball League (EFNL) is pleased to announce the appointment of Matthew Fotia as the League’s new Media Manager.    

Fotia is no stranger to the EFNL having worked with the League during 2017 where he completed a media internship and subsequently as a media team volunteer in 2018 as part of the game-day broadcast performing match-day commentary, social media updates and writing feature articles. He has a Bachelor of Media and Communications, which he completed at Australian Catholic University.

In his current role, Fotia has been instrumental in developing the media operations at AFL Outer East, serving as the competition’s media manager over the past 18 months.

A keen sportsman and writer, Fotia opens the bowling for the Ringwood Cricket Club, and is a former Lilydale footballer.

EFNL Chief Executive Officer Troy Swainston said the League was thrilled to be able provide Fotia with the opportunity to take on the Media Manager role.

“Matt is an energetic, passionate and driven individual and we believe he will be a great addition to the team,” Swainston said.

Fotia will commence in the EFNL Media Manager role on Thursday, March 26.
