
Over the long weekend, the Netball State Titles were held at Jubilee, Frankston with multiple EFNL players featuring .
The league was delighted to see several EFNL players representing Dandenong Valley, including EFNL representatives Jet Harris (Montrose), Tyler Drummond (Lilydale), Bridie Davison (Heathmont), who will also be representing the league in the upcoming Association Championships in June. Paige and Emma Hunter from Heathmont also took part on the day representing neighbouring region, Chisholm.
Grace Scott-Thomas (Kilsyth), Summah Hinchcliffe (Ferntree Gully) and Trinity Pierce (Mitcham), also represented Dandenong Valley over the weekend.
The trials were live streamed on Sunday via KommunityTV.
The Dandenong Valley Open side featuring multiple EFNL players, competed well, winning a total of seven games, finishing seventh in the final standings.
Along with player Talent ID opportunities, umpires are also eligible for Talent ID and we were proud to have a number of our EFNL netball umpires taking part over the weekend. Brad Fry, Brad Keats, Karin Jewell, Kiarrah Owen and Charli Sully all taking part this weekend.
A special mention to Brad Fry who successfully achieved his B badge accreditation during the State Titles.
