The National Diversity Championships, held annually, affords the opportunity to over 200 juniors from culturally diverse backgrounds to represent their state in Australian rules football.
A rigorous selection process saw each player chosen based on their performances at local regional trials and AFL Victoria’s Multicultural Schools Cup.
Overall, five Eastern Football League junior clubs boast participants in the tournament, with two representatives hailing from Lysterfield.
