Vale Michael 'Mick' Whiting

The Eastern Football Netball League is saddened by the news that league life member Michael 'Mick' Whiting has passed away.

Michael was a former Senior Vice President of the EDFL/EFL, an Executive Committee member from 1991 to 2000 and a life member of the league.

The league would like to acknowledge his significant contribution during a period of rapid development for the league.

Michael passed away on the 27th of May, 2025.

His funeral will be held at 1:00pm, Thursday, 5th June at Heritage Funerals, Wantirna.
