Congratulations to Lewis Hayes, selected at Pick 25 by the Essendon Football Club in the 2022 AFL Draft on Tuesday Night.
The former Lysterfield Junior has been a leading key defender for the Eastern Ranges, standing at 199cm. In the NAB league, Hayes averaged 20.7 disposals and 5.3 marks a game. The former EFNL Junior is the younger brother of Port Adelaide ruckman, Sam Hayes.
Hayes reads the ball well in the air and is a great intercept mark, he’ll be a fantastic addition to the backline of the Essendon Football Club.
