Community sport is back this weekend, with all bar a few EFNL teams returning to the field. This doesn’t mean we are straight back to pre-lockdown rules, with the following restrictions applying to the weekends fixtures.
Community Sport:
Open for all ages, training, and competition.
Limited to minimum number of people required to participate in and facilitate the activity (i.e. players, coaches). The group limit does not apply.
Density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm applies
Maximum patron cap of 100 people per space indoors and 300 per space outdoors
Density quotient of 1 person per 4sqm.
COVID Check-in Marshals must ensure attendees check-in
Group limit of 10 people does not apply to community sport
Community sport refers to competitions and training overseen by a state sporting association or equivalent governing body, such as country football and netball competitions overseen by AFL Victoria and Netball Victoria.
Spectators are not allowed (excludes people necessary for events such as teachers, instructors, trainers, coaches, umpires, carers, parents and guardians).
