The Eastern Football Netball League is honoured to be part of the Pat Cronin Foundation Round taking place 2–4 May 2025.
This round is a powerful moment to honour Pat Cronin, a young man whose life was tragically cut short by a coward punch while trying to protect a friend.
Pat’s story is a stark reminder of how a single act of violence can have devastating consequences.
By wearing the yellow ‘Be Wise’ armband, our clubs become part of a powerful movement – remembering Pat and spreading the vital message ‘Be Wise.
End the Coward Punch.’ The yellow armband serves as a visible reminder of our collective responsibility to stand against senseless violence.
