Leading Goalkicker: Harrison Law (14 Goals)
Â
Â
Season Summary:
Â
Bayswater battled hard for their three senior wins this season, finishing in eighth position on the Division One ladder.
Â
Two of their three victories came against last placed Norwood, jumping them in the opening term on both occasions.
Â
The other big win of the season came at Holm Park Reserve when Bayswater stunned a premiership favourite in Beaconsfield, while missing many of the key stars.
Â
Another highlight of the season was the celebration of Joel Galvin’s 300th game, played in Round Two against local rivals Boronia. Galvin at the end of the 2025 season, was honoured as an
Â
Best Win: Round Eight – Bayswater 10.8 68 def. Beaconsfield 9.8 62 @ Holm Park Reserve
Â
By far Bayswater’s best win of the season, a six-point win over Beaconsfield in one of the biggest Division One upsets of the season.
Â
Missing many of the side’s most important players, Bayswater stunned Beaconsfield on their home deck in a very tight contest.
Â
Paul Haasbroek and Christian Poe kicked two goals each, while Mitchell Tsirtsikos led the disposal count with 19.
Â
Key Players:
Paul Haasbroek had an outstanding season for the club, nominated in the EFNL Team of the Year squad. 25 disposals or more on five occasions including a dominant performance against Norwood, 29 disposals to go with three goals.
Â
Missing Ben White for most of the year, Haasbroek was one of the key Bayswater stars to step up, alongside the likes of Christian Poe who has continued to improve again.
Â
Tim Castricum was one of the side’s most consistent players, and the reliable Ben Seale remained a key operator of the defensive half of the ground. From his 12 games this year, Searle averaged over 22 disposals.
Â
What’s Next?
Â
A difficult division awaits with an overall very strong competition with Mitcham and Wantirna South returning to the fold.
Â
The club has started to welcome some new players to the mix, recruits including Logan Hiscock, Jack Troake, Noah Iliadis, and Charlie Simpson.
Some notable departures as well makes things challenging for Bayswater as they enter season 2026.
Â
Senior Women’s
Ladder Position: 1st (11-1, 808.79%)
Leading Goalkicker: Katie Cameron (20 Goals)
Â
Season Summary:
Â
Bayswater backed up their 2024 finals run with a dominant Home and Away season, winning 11 of a possible 12 games.
Â
Their strong season started with an impressive 37-point win over Wantirna South at Walker Reserve. They would go on to win their first seven games of the season, conceding just six goals in that time.
Â
The side’s only loss in the Home and Away season was a four-point loss to the Eagles in Round Nine after their promotion from Division Five.
Â
Finishing on top of the ladder, Bayswater claimed Minor Premiership honours. Unfortunately for the side, they suffered some tough luck on the injury front in the final weeks of the season and in the finals series.
Â
Bayswater were eliminated after finals losses to Wantirna South and Vermont Gold.
Â
Best Win: Round One - Bayswater 9.1 55 def. Wantirna South 2.6 18 @ Walker Reserve
Â
A perfect way to start the 2025 season campaign, Bayswater took down Wantirna South by 37 points in a rematch of the 2024 Preliminary Final.
Â
In what was a highly anticipated Round One fixture, Bayswater took more of their chances in front of goal. 13 points up at Three Quarter Time before a four-goal to zip in the final quarter blew the margin out.
Â
Georgia Thomson kicked three goals, while Jessica Ekins and Jenna White kicked two goals themselves.
Â
Key Players:
Â
Jenna White continued where she left off last year. The midfielder one of the best in the division, locked into a starting spot in the midfield of the Division Four/Five Team of the Year.
Â
Katie Cameron and Georgia Cox were also selected in the Team of the Year half forward line. The pair combined for 36 goals for the season; Katie Cameron’s 20 goals saw her take out the division’s leading goalkicker award.
Â
Zoe Lynch was the fourth member of the side to make the 2025 Team of the Year. Playing more in defence this season, Lynch took her game to another level. When up forward, she capitalised in front of goals with ten for the season.
Â
What’s Next?
Â
Two finals series appearances in back-to-back years have Bayswater in a strong position to make it three years in a row.
Â
The side’s best form this season was a clear indication that Bayswater are more than capable of winning a premiership in the division.

Â
Bayswater Gold finished on top of the ladder with an impressive record of 12 and 2 in the Home and Away season. Their form continued into the finals, winning both finals against Norwood, the Semi Final and Grand Final.
